"El cazador de cerebros - Autopsia a la muerte"

Prof. Dr. med. Jens Dreier

Interview with Prof. Dr. med. Jens Dreier on Spanish television

So far, the WHO has not been able to agree on a globally applicable definition of death. Even within the EU, there are different definitions within the single EU member states of when life ends and death begins. A person who is legally declared dead in Spain, for example, can still be alive in Germany. It's time for an intercultural exchange and to ask experts some questions about what happens at the transition between life and death from a biological-medical perspective. Together with other experts from Europe, Prof. Dr. med. Jens Dreier explains scientific backgrounds in an interview with the Spanish public-broadcasting company RTVE (Corporación de Radio y Televisión Española). The broadcast is in Spanish language.

Jens Dreier is a professor at the CSB and a consultant at the Department of Neurology at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
