ESO Summer School 2018

The 22nd ESO Stroke Summer School will take place in Berlin, Germany from 10–14 September 2018.

Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to host this year’s ESO annual Stroke Summer School, a prestigious educational event for stroke trainees throughout Europe. This educational programme, chaired by the ESO, has been successfully performed for more than 20 years and aims to transfer stroke expertise to the European Community. About 45 young stroke physicians from all over Europe will be chosen according to consistent criteria and will come together in Berlin to attend an intensive Stroke Summer School. National and international experts of various fields of stroke will support this programme by their lectures, among them the members of the ESO Executive Committee.

This year the 22nd ESO Stroke Summer School will take place in Berlin, hosted by the Center for Stroke Research Berlin and the Department of Neurology of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The venues will be in the heart of Berlin on the historic Charité Campus in Berlin Mitte and in its vicinity. During one week - 10-14 September 2018 - stroke specialists from Europe provide their expert knowledge to young physicians with a major interest in cerebrovascular diseases. The lectures will cover a wide range of current issues pertinent to both clinicians and researchers in stroke medicine. Practical lessons and workshops will complement the lectures. All of us at the ESO and the local organising committee, hope to have prepared an exciting programme that provides new insights and fruitful discussions for the upcoming generation of stroke experts.

On this website you will find all the information needed concerning the summer school. The material will soon be enriched with further details for your convenience.

We are looking forward to meeting you in September in Berlin!
